Let’s have a party

Has it been a year already?! WOW! Well then. I guess we’d better celebrate.

Come join us on Friday, April 10th, from 4-9pm as we celebrate a year of beer in the Burning Brothers taproom (BTW, this is our Grand Opening party…. oops!). We’ll have beer specials, prizes, beer specials, food, beer specials, fun, beer specials…. well, you get the idea. We’re still putting together the specifics, but we wanted to make sure to get the date on your calendar. Stay tuned for updates!

Other taproom happenings

Food on Friday features our friends from Rusty Taco who are here to satisfy and fulfill all your taco desires. Pairing off against the taco in the brewer’s choice offering is our American IPA. Decidedly hoppy and bitter with a citrus sweetness, this is a crisp and straight-forward session IPA that focuses on the flavors of Centennial and Chinook hops. ABV 4.5% ~ IBU 60 (Sorry, small batch on this one, so no growler fills).

UPDATE: We have tapped out of the American IPA.

OK, maybe not that, but we can dream. We are open Sunday from 2-8pm and you can enjoy a pint while while catching up with friends and family.

Newsletter: Pi Day is Coming…

NERD ALERT! This Saturday is Pi Day (i.e. 3/14/15). Come help celebrate a mathematical constant!

Burning Brothers is celebrating Pi Day by offering discounts on our flagship American pale ale. Pyro pints will be $3.14 all day long and we’ll be offering $3.14 off Pyro growler fills. But wait, there’s more! For every pint of Pyro purchased, you’ll be entered in our Pi(e) raffle featuring a variety of handmade sweets featuring Burning Brothers beer (all gluten-free of course; see pic above). Drawings at 3:00pm, 4:30pm, 6:00pm, 7:30pm & 9:00pm. Taproom is open until 10pm on Saturday.

Other taproom happenings

Thirsty Thursdays are on. Swing on down to the taproom tonight for $1 off pints and $2 off growlers fills. But remember, St Paul liquor laws say no growler fills after 8pm on school nights (i.e. Thursdays) so get here early. Taproom is open until 9pm.

Food on Friday once again showcases Chef T-Bone from Tollefson Family Pork Farm who offers all-natural meat products exclusively through Twin Cities farmers markets. Their gluten-free menu often includes housemade salsa with chips, wrap du jur with smoked sausage and/or sauteed veggie and cottage bacon a la carte.

As always, Friday brings us the latest offering in our brewer’s choice series with debut of our Belgian Strong Ale. Malty and rich with a noticeable heat, this beer asserts itself with a strong yet subtle sour from the Belgian yeast. ABV 7.7% ~ IBU 23 (Sorry, small batch on this one, so no growler fills). Taproom is open until 10pm on Friday.

Saturday… Pi Day… see above!

Sunday we’re open from 2-8pm. We’ve got a nice collection of tabletop games to enjoy while catching up with friends over a beer.

Weekend Update

More beer in more places

If you haven’t been out to the map on our website lately, you should check it out. With over 700 locations to find you some Burning Brothers how could you go wrong?

We also just added the first batch of locations for Iowa and Nebraska so that our friends in far places can crack open a Pyro too.

Taproom happenings

Tonight (Friday), Moondog Fancy Meats returns with their delectably delicious German-style bratwurst and dogs served on a gluten-free bun. Choose from a variety of meaty goodness (pork, beef and bison to name a few) and then pile them high with all the (un)usual toppings.

As always, Friday also brings us the latest offering in our brewer’s choice series with the return of our Imperial Stout. Tastes rich, peaty and punches like Tyson! ABV 8.8% ~ IBU 56 (And yes, we will be filling growlers and grumblers, so bring it on!)

Tomorrow is the first Saturday of the month, which means it’s time find out the real story of Burning Brothers with our brewery tour. Fire-eating, beer & gluten-free. 1st Sat of each month @ 4pm. Limit of 20(ish).

For the more relaxed pint, stop in the taproom on Sunday from 2-8pm. We’ve got a nice collection of tabletop games to being enjoyed while catching up with friends over a beer.
